Presentations will be hosted through OSHP's Zoom Platform.   When you click the Zoom links below, you will be required to complete a registration form.  This will help make your CE experience easier if we capture that information on this platform.

What's the difference between Zoom Webinar and Zoom Meeting?
The Meeting and Webinar platforms offer similar features and functionality but have some key differences.

  • Zoom Meetings are designed to be a collaborative event with all participants being able to screen share, turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance.
  • Zoom Webinars are designed so that only the host and any designated panelists can share their video, audio and screen. Webinars allow view-only attendees (they cannot turn on their audio or video). They have the ability to interact via Q&A, Chat, and answering polling questions.

Preceptor Development Sessions

The ACPE CE Preceptor Development Sessions will be hosted on the OSHP Zoom Webinar Platform.  Click on the following link to access: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_kLWBIHkvT5GW4xdM7LOQDg#/registration

  • For Zoom Webinar, attendees will not have access to the audio or video.  All discussion and questions will go through Zoom chat and Q&A.

Resident Project Tracks

The Resident Project Tracks (Morning and Afternoon) will be hosted on the OSHP Zoom Meeting Platform in separate Breakout Rooms labeled by track name.  Click on the following link to access: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUqcuyqrT4jHtRWrxPWKudogTJymVNNp-uT#/registration

  • For Zoom Meeting, attendees will have access to audio and video.  Please download the latest version of Zoom for the Resident Project Tracks.  It will allow you to access the Resident Project Tracks.

Participating in a Breakout Room

As a participant in a Breakout Room, you have similar capabilities as you would in a regular meeting. These include:

  • Self-select your Breakout Room – You can now select which Breakout Room you would like to join, if the host has enabled this feature. This means meeting participants can move freely between Breakout Rooms without the host having to assign them one. Note: Both the meeting host and participants need to be on Zoom 5.3.0 or later to self-select Breakout Rooms.
  • In-meeting chat – You can also use the chat function within your Breakout Room to message other participants in the room or share links, content, and ideas.
  • Asking the host for help – This feature is unique to Breakout Rooms, and allows you to contact the host to let them know you need help within your Breakout Room. The host can respond immediately by joining the Breakout Room or send a message to participants informing them they will help when they become available.

Additional Zoom Help

  • If you have not registered through Zoom for this event, please use the following URL and do so prior to the event:  https://zoom.us/freesignup/

  • IMPORTANT!! If you have not done so already, please download the Zoom app to the device you will be using prior to joining the meeting. Please make sure that you have download the latest version 5.3 at a minimum (currently v5.4.1 is available). This download must be completed prior to attending the event. Once you have completed the download, please reboot the device to ensure the app will work properly.  Note: app is free.

  • Video and microphone options for our attendees will not be available for presentations that will be in Zoom Webinar. But don’t worry! Please use the chat box to network with fellow attendees and if you have a question for our presenter, use the Q&A box. Both these options should be at the bottom of your zoom screen.

  • For Q&A – we will try to get to as many questions as we can. If for some reason we run out of time and we still have questions unanswered, don’t worry! We will ask the presenters to look over the questions after their presentation and send out a follow up email to all attendees.

New to Zoom?  No problem!  The goal of today’s event is to give you the ability to see the presentations, interact with your peers, network, and ask questions!

Once you are in Zoom there are a couple of features that you will use the most:  MUTE, VIDEO, and CHAT.  All of these icons will be located toward the bottom of your screen, you may need to hover your mouse over the area for it appear.

Mute:  This feature controls the sound.  Because we have multiple attendees today, we are asking that you keep your mute feature turned on – The icon will have a slash through it when engaged.  We ask this because background noise is more easily picked up in Zoom meetings and can be distracting.  If you need to ask a question, you can un-mute and then re-mute when done.

Video: This feature controls what people see of you.  Please note that yourself and your surroundings will be visible to all attendees if you have this feature turned on.  If you need to leave the meeting, simply make sure your video is turned off (again, there will be a slash through the icon).

Chat:  If you’d like to ask a question, you can use the Chat feature.  This will bring up a screen that you can use to send a message to all of the attendees.

If you need to leave, please make sure your video is turned off and the mute is also engaged – that way attendees will not see or hear you.  When you are ready to return, simply turn your video feature back on!
